Hey, this is Charles and Amber Colaw. We are here going to give you a win of the week and a notable quotable and Amber give us the winner of the week. Hey, Katie’s our winner of the week and she has lost 30 pounds.

Katie. Um, I enjoy the atmosphere and the staff is very, very friendly. I also like their free weight equipment. It’s a really easy place to work out and cause everybody’s really nice. Um, even people that you don’t know because everybody’s always smiling and happy and all of the fitness Bartlesville equipment is in really good shape.

I enjoy the fact that it’s very nonjudgmental place so it doesn’t really matter where you’re starting at. And is very accepting of that. And again, it’s very friendly and the staff is nice. Um, I have lost quite a bit of weight. Probably lost about 30 pounds since I started working out there. I’ve definitely toned up a little bit. Um, so like, um, I do cardio on the elliptical and mostly, and then I do the strength training with free weights.

Hi, we’re Charles and Amber Colaw. We’re here with the fitness tip of the week. Yeah, we’re going to ask Charles what’s better weights or cardio? Weights or cardio. It would be both. You want to be doing both weights and cardio and the first thing you want to be doing as your weights first while you had the most amount of energy, and then after your weights, you want to be doing cardio.

And the weights for the weight part of it. You want to be doing about eight to 15 repetitions to where you fail. And then on the cardio part, you wanted me to be doing about 130 beats a minute. So you’re going to have a fat loss emphasis with a little bit of a heart health effect. Most people want to lose fat and tone up and that heart heart rate of 130 beats a minute, we’ll get both.

And also the weights with eight to 15 reps will stimulate the muscles to tone up and be strengthened. So that’s your fitness tip of the weak. This is Charles and Amber Colaw, have a blessed day and thank you for watching.
