Fitness Centers in Arlington | COVID-19
This content was written for Colaw Fitness
2020 has by far been one of the strangest years in recent history. With the outbreak of coronavirus, many people are unsure what the future holds. Many people have asked what fitness centers ought to do in order to keep people healthy. At this time, many gyms have simply closed their doors, yet continue to charge their members. We at Colaw Fitness believe that this is unethical treatment of our patrons. Therefore, we stayed open as long as we possibly could for a number of reasons.
First, we wanted to continue giving people a place to exercise. Fitness centers in Arlington are a great place to do that. Likewise, we also wanted to make sure that our staff were still receiving paychecks. At the end of the day, we also had to close our doors. That being said, we have some huge plans for when we come back. If you would like to hear more about what we are planning, call us at 918-766-3353. Similarly, you can find information at ColawFitness.com. We look forward to seeing you in the facility here soon!
At our fitness centers in Arlington, we understand how big of an impact exercise makes on mental health. Therefore, we attempted to keep our facility open as long as we possibly could. At one point, we even limited the number of members to fifty at a time. We did this because we believe that at this time, we all need a little positivity. Therefore, we also added some additional cleaning that kept our members safe. At Colaw Fitness, we already believe that we are cleanest gym on the planet. In addition to our standard cleaning of the facility, we also added significant other measures.
Essentially, we doubled down on our daily cleaning. Our team usually deep cleans the facility one time per month. At this point, we had moved to deep cleaning the facility one time per week. When it came to sanitization, we supplied hand sanitizer at all of our cleaning stations. Additionally, we also supplied it at the front desk for members leaving the facility. From here, we also made sure to stay on top of our soap stations in all of our bathrooms. Undoubtedly, our fitness centers in Arlington were not going to go down without a fight.
In the midst of all this, we felt sure that we needed to treat our members well. Therefore, whenever they would come in with questions, our staff was ready. We treated every single member with respect and attempted to quiet their fears well. Of course, we did this to the best of our ability. Our team did a great job quieting all of the fears of our members. In addition, they assured them that we were taking extra precautionary measures. All of this, to make sure that this did not affect their memberships.
Fortunately, Colaw Fitness offers a freeze option at our fitness centers in Arlington. This means that members can freeze their membership for up to three months. In that time, we will waive all of their monthly payments. This allowed many of our elderly members to waive their payments while they stayed safe at home. Ultimately, our main objective was to keep our members safe. Therefore, we did everything that we could to make sure it didn’t affect them. We are grateful for the members that remained in our facility until the last moment!
Unfortunately, we did have to close our doors in the late days of March 2020. We anticipate being able to open the doors of our fitness centers in Arlington soon. From what we have heard in the recent past, we should be able to open on May 1st, 2020. Our team would love to be able to see our members again. They have become such a staple part of our community, that it is sad not to see them. Of course, to make sure that they were well taken care of, we waived a few monthly payments for them. We did this because we believe that it was the right thing to do in our fitness centers in Arlington.
Our members have been greatly appreciative, which means the world to us. Colaw Fitness could not imagine having a facility without our awesome members! Therefore, we will not let COVID-19 keep us down! Once the government allows us, we will have our doors opened again. At that time, we will be ready and excited to welcome you all back into the facility. We hope that you are taking advantage of this time to be near your families. In addition, we hope that you are excited to join us again once we open.
In light of this, we chose not to just sit on our hands. Therefore, we have been creating content for you like none other. It has always been important to us that our members feel empowered to do their workouts. We do not want you to feel shackled to us to live a healthy lifestyle! Therefore, at our fitness centers in Arlington, we are teaching exercises at home. Our founders, Charles and Amber Colaw, have been working to demonstrate how it’s done. They will show you everything that you need to do in order to get the best workout possible.
From there, they are also able to go through some fitness tips on their weekly podcast. We are sure that you have been listening to a ton of education material. However, eating right is more difficult than ever. Access to healthy foods is on a first come, first serve basis these days. Therefore, we want to equip you with all of the right tools to continue eating healthy. That way, you won’t have to worry about losing the gains that you made early in the year. Many of our members have used these and have seen some awesome results.
In conclusion, though there is a lot of stuff that is in disarray, we can still make great decisions! At our fitness centers in Arlington, we worked hard to keep the facility open for you. Now that we have closed, we are doing our best to make sure that you stay fit. We have been doing this by providing free resources on our daily podcast.
