Gym Bartlesville | How much time to spend in the gym? | Colaw Fitness

Hey, we’re Charles and Amber Colaw here with the fitness tip of the week. Yes. So, um, Charles, tell us how long do we have to be in the gym Bartlesville to actually get a benefit out of working out.

How long you have to be in the gym? Yeah, like, can I run in, I have 15 minutes. Is that not long enough? Do I have to go 30? Does it have to be an hour and a half? Some people think we work out or all day, all day long. No. The answer to that is, is you can literally exercise and like a little mini bursts and still get a great, great workout.

I know I have that clients or friends of mine that would literally run into the gym and do like a 15 minute workout and leave and then go work with some clients and so on and then come back and do another little 15 minute where, and he was in his street clothes, but you can get great benefit.

This guy was in his fifties and in great shape. And he literally would come into the gym, do 15 minute workouts between clients and had a great physique, great fitness, a great health.

So even if you got a 15 minutes and you pop in and get a quick little workout, quick little pump, get your heart rate up, increase your muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardio, respiratory recovery, all that kind of stuff just in 15 minutes.

So if you got 15 minutes, you can have exercise benefits, muscle tone, muscle endurance, cardiovascular, respiratory recovery, all that stuff, all benefits, even just a 15 minute workout.

And I think even in 15 minutes you have to be intentional and it has to be a steady 15 minutes not I come in and a five minute chit chat warmup, and then one little exercise and then a five minute chit-chat cool down. You know, I think something is better than nothing.

I love it when people just get in there, but knock it out. Get a 15 minute break, run into the gym, grab a quick workout. You’re going to feel great. It’s going to motivate you. Increase in orphans.

Yeah. So that’s the fitness tip. So check it out. 15 minute workouts, baby blessed week. That’s the fitness tips. Talk to you guys next week. Bye. Bye [inaudible].
