My name is Matt Miller. What I like most about Colaw Fitness is probably the accessibility. I just, I can come here anytime I want to. After work, after walking the dogs, it’s really relaxed. You know, nobody’s sit around judging you, looking at what weights you’re lifting. You’re really just able to come in and focus on what you need to get done again, it no. You are missing out on a really great experience. You’re missing out on a really inexpensive way to make yourself healthy again and Colaw actually reward you for showing up to the gym. I lost 24 pounds in 30 days, and I gained five pounds of muscle over that time.
Hi, we’re Charles and Amber Colaw here with a fitness tip of the week. And the fitness tip of the week is Charles. What do we do if we only have 20 to 30 minutes to get in a workout at the gym in Joplin today? Simple. It’s called giant sets because they work. So we got four more exercises all coupled together and you’d do several rounds of that. So you’re getting weights and cardio at the same time.
You could actually Google it like giant sets. It’s four or more exercises all put together. And then you do about a two minute rest in between each round and then do that three or four times. And in 20 minutes you’re going to get a great weight workout and cardio workout cause your heart staying up the whole time. A lot of times I’ll do it. I’ll have like 140-150 beats a minute, the whole 20 minutes.
I’m also getting a great workout, a great pump, and it’s, it’s an awesome way to go about it. So 20 minutes you can literally get a great workout and cardio for weights and cardio at the same time.
