Gym Topeka | How important is nutrition? | Colaw Fitness Topeka

Hey, this is Charles Colaw and Amber Colaw here with a fitness tip of the week. So Charles is going to give us some good advice to start out 2021. So tell us the importance of nutrition.

Food, what you eat. Now, I’ve gone to different places around the country, far as in fitness training. I’m eight times certified in fitness training around the country. So 70 to 80% of what you look like is your food program or your diet. So what you eat equates to about 70 to 80% and the other 20 to 30% is what you’re doing in the gym or rest and recovery.

But what you eat is very important for your body fat so that your body is actually building the muscle, losing the fat to look like that leaner more toned version of yourself. For example in our CF-30 book or in our city of 30 books in the club on the backside of that, there is a picture of me where I used to powerlift.

And then a period of time later about, I think, nine months later where I lost 83 pounds and I did a bodybuilding show that shows how much it changed. Now. I basically did the same workouts. I just totally flipped the diet and added a little bit of cardio. But by far, the food is the biggest factor for losing that fat and really getting that lean, toned more muscular version of yourself.

So knowing you, knowing that 70 to 80% of your success is that food plan. And if you need to have a template in our CF 30 book. That’s what this whole book is about is basically following a set workout and diet plan. And it’s very strategic on the food plan tells you what to eat when to eat and all that kind of stuff to be successful for losing that fat and toning up the body.
