Topeka Fitness Tips | How Gina lost 12 lbs in 30 days
Hi, this is Charles Colaw and Amber Colaw here with Colaw fitness and today we’re going to talk to you about the win of the week and give you a Topeka fitness tip. And the Topeka fitness tip of the week is basically going to talk about two hormones in the body, Serotonin and dopamine. Those are the pleasure hormones that when you exercise, you’re talking about like a runner’s high when you run and you actually get to this point where like, wow, no, I feel really good.
Or like talking about a guy working on kind of gets a pump and you could just tell he loves feeling how good he feels. Those are pleasure hormones that are released from exercising. And Gina is a great example. You just see her personality that she’s having a lot of that happening and we do want you to experience the results that Gina has the Serotonin, the pleasure in the body, feeling good from exercise, but that’s not going to happen to you.
Come in here and start exercising. So serotonin and dopamine or pleasure hormones in the brain and you can get that from exercise. And so we want to encourage you to exercise. That’s the fitness tip. And uh, the notable quotable that we have comes from .com they talk about how hormones, basically the quote is “hormones such as endorphins and Serotonin, dopamine and testosterone are released in the body and direct response to increase physical activity. So we want you to, uh, uh, do what Gina does and start exercising, losing the fat and tone up and get started coming into the gym. So the action steps that we’d have for ever is going to tell you the action steps. Action step is like Nike. Just do it. Just take action over your emotion and just get to work. Start. Yes. And one more thing to that.
A lot of times what happens and listen to your emotions, your emotions will hold you hostage. So you get up in the morning, you’re like, I need to go to the gym and you’ll think like, uh, I don’t feel like it. I don’t really want to go. What happens is this, your emotions will screw you over every time we get a hold you hostage and derail you from what logic is telling you what you know you need to get in there. You know, do you started exercising. So you have to take action before emotion. So don’t feel it. Just do it and that’s where the just do it comes in.
So get up, go to the Gym, sign up, go into the free trainer classes, start doing this stuff in the free trainer classes. You learn the nutrition and start following the plan and we’ve got all of that for you for free at the gym. So action over emotion. Don’t let your emotions hold you hostage from your goals. Do what Gina did. Lose that 12 pounds the next thirty days.
My name is Gina. There’s so many things. I’ll start by saying that I love the fact that it’s open 24 hours. It allows me to come in anytime of the day. I teach dance and so sometimes I don’t get out of the studio until 10 and 11 at night and so I can just come here, relax, grants out, work out. It’s great. We have this here is super friendly. It very safe is always just cheerful. Everybody on staff is still willing to help you and I feel very much nonmembers should come and try it out. First of all, it’s super economical.
The more you come the less it cost you and it’s a great facility, universal weight room, massage chairs. The tanning, it’s everything that you’d want. Again, it is Topeka’s best kept secret because everybody should be walking in the doors. I Have Boston time, I dance educator. I have really wanted to come in to stretch out every day. It’s very important to be agile and flexible. I also have lost 12 pounds in one month and I just feel so much stronger way. Upper body strength has also increased, so I love the elliptical. I love the weights, I just love the large facility here.
I feel like I’m totally fit now, whereas before I was getting the teaching part of dance but not coming in to workout for myself.
