c. Location Data (Mobile App Only)

The Colaw Fitness mobile app collects location data only after you have granted permission. This includes background location access to support a core feature that detects when you are near a Colaw Fitness facility and enables a seamless check-in experience by prompting access to your access card barcode.

Location data is processed on your device to trigger relevant notifications. Your location is not stored by the app, not stored on our servers, and not shared with any third parties. You can manage or disable location permissions at any time through your device settings.

d. Fitness Classes and Event Participation Data

When you reserve a spot in or attend a fitness class, group session, or event, we collect attendance and participation data. This information is used to track participant attendance, manage class capacity and space requirements, and improve our scheduling and programming.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide, maintain, and operate our website, App, and gym services
  • To process membership sign-ups, payments, and billing
  • To enable check-in, class reservations, and use of in-facility amenities (e.g., tanning, massage, 3D body scans, recovery equipment)

3. Text Messaging (SMS)

By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive automated text messages from Colaw Fitness related to your membership, guest visits, appointments, class reminders, and promotional offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of text messages will not affect your membership or ability to use our services.

No mobile information will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Any third-party service providers we use to deliver text messages are bound to keep your information confidential and are not authorized to use it for any purpose beyond message delivery.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our website and improve your experience. Cookies are small data files that may include an anonymous unique identifier. We also use Google Analytics and similar services to understand how our customers use the Site.

We retain your personal information for as long as your membership account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with our legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements.

Specifically:

  • Active member account information is retained for the duration of your membership.
  • After your membership ends, we retain billing and transaction records to comply with tax and financial recordkeeping requirements.
  • Marketing communication records are retained until you opt out or request deletion.
  • Location data collected by the mobile app is not retained — it is processed on-device only and is never stored.

When information is no longer required, we will securely delete or anonymize it.

Colaw Fitness offers memberships to minors with the consent and signature of a parent or legal guardian.
