And I’m going to go over some information with you today on the, you can do this podcast. So without further ado, I’m going to do part two of the mind blowing fitness facts and a to jump on in here. We’re going to talk to you real quick about, uh, give you a little bit of a uh, middle motivation. Um, this comes from a 1 Timothy 4:8 for while the body for a while bodily training is of some value. So all right, this is the, the mind blowing fitness facts. And next step I have for you guys is [inaudible]. Uh, talking about crunches. Crunches don’t slim the midsection. If you want to lose belly fat, you need to incorporate a better diet to burn those calories and cardio to help mobilize that fat. So a lot of people feel like doing crunches will actually lose that fat. But to actually get the body to drop and lose that sub cutaneous , that subs sub layer of fat off the body, you actually have to um, uh, get your diet in line.

Which forces ketosis where your body uses its own fat as energy reserves. So it’s in the kitchen, not just in the crunches. And then cardio also will help speed that up as well. But diet is number one, strengthen your core through abdominal exercises. Make them appear leaner because the muscles are a little more firm and tight and you can kind of, they feel firm, so they feel like you’re getting leaner with the actual layer of body fat.

If you put a caliper measurement on, it isn’t reducing unless you’re mobilizing that fat through your diet. And, um, that’s the main key thing there. So, um, aerobic exercise such as brisk walking, running, biking for at least 20 to 40 minutes a day is helpful for helping your body mobilize that fat as well. And, um, of course getting a solid diet, uh, next fitness fact is being fit is good for your heart because it strengthens the muscles needed to make your heart and cardiovascular system function.

Um, what happens when you, your bicycle, your, your blood veins, vasodilators, they actually dilate. That helps with distribution of white blood cells, nutrients. So everything in your body gets healthier through strengthening that circulatory effect, the vassal dilation effect. But that’s how all, um, health that repair and everything occurs is through the V vassal dilation effect. Um, next up on the uh, fitness facts muscle mass diminishes at the rate of 1% a year in middle age men.

So you actually will reduce muscle, um, in your middle age. So you’re in 30s or forties, you actually start losing 1% every year if you aren’t eating better and working out and so on. To maintain that so you actually lose strength and muscle tone actually slows down your metabolic rate to cause more muscle mass you have that actually burns more calories to sitting at rest. So eat that higher protein diet, lift those weights and stimulate your body to keep that muscle mass.

Uh, another quick fact here is people who work out with a partner or more likely to stick to their fitness regimens. Most of the time when you work out a muscle group, let’s say you’re working on your chest muscles, if you’re working out really hard, it takes about 48 to 72 hours to fully recover. If you work it out hard enough to cause what they call a microfiber tear, that’s not a large chair, but like where you feel sort.

Those are called microfiber tares that actually the muscles break down a little bit and then they have to heal and repair and that takes 48 to 72 hours. So resting is good for muscle recovery and during that period of small amount of trauma to the body on the fitness, uh, the muscles, um, that actually increases your resting metabolic rate increases or your resting metabolism to heal and repair that which actually burns calories.

Um, next. And in fact it takes 12 weeks of an exercise routine before you start to see measurable changes in your body. That is not true. Um, I definitely know that within two weeks with the lean strict diet, you can actually see a difference. Um, and you can actually measure difference on the calipers. Uh, so fitness fact, it doesn’t take up to 12 weeks. You can start seeing that within two weeks and you’ll see weight changes within two weeks. If people say, I can definitely sell, you’re leaning out what’s going on, you can see it in your face.

Generally right below the jaw line, people can see that right in the collarbones, you’ll see that there’s less fluid retention and less water attention on the body. Um, and so next fitness fact is music can inadvertently get you moving faster during your tough workouts. A lot of people struggle with motivation and of course music.

Um, we all love music and if we can find music that’s upbeat, positive and motivated, we can definitely stick to our routine more. Uh, get a harder workout, push ourselves a little bit better. So, uh, the action step is definitely picking up some music that it’s going to get you moving faster and uh, pushing yourself harder to do those tough workouts to get those great results. Heart attack, stroke, diabetes.
